Also romantic Hispanic ballads can be played or the party goers can be serenaded by Mariachis. In fact, how wonderful it would be to have a live Mariachi band playing for the Mexican theme party. Additionally, the various decorations can include the use of brightly colored serapes and authentic pottery that is made from Mexico. In addition, all of the Mexican posters or Mexican vacation destinations can be posted all around the room or house where the Mexican themed party is held. Some of those pictures could include scenes from Mexico City, Guadalajara, Acapulco, etc. Obtaining Mexican Party Supplies Also, when planning a Mexican party it is important to obtain Mexican party supplies. First of all, the first item that needs to be purchased and sent out to the guest list are invitations. These invitations can be in the shape of certain typical Mexican symbols. Some of the non-alcoholic beverages that can be served at a party with a Mexican theme can be a cinnamon milk drink known as hurchata. In addition, another soft drink that can be served at a party is Jalisco. This a soda that is particular to Mexico. Also, when considering Mexican party supplies, it is important that appropriate dinnerware is utilized. This dinnerware should be a reflection of the Mexican culture. Therefore, inexpensive plates, bowls, and cups can be purchased that have the vibrancy of the Hispanic culture adorned on them. Generally, these plates are brightly colored. Additionally, no party is complete without some sort of entertainment. Specifically, in keeping with the Mexican themed party, there are a number of party games that can be played. One of those party games could be the hitting of a piñata. A piñata is a colorfully decorated paper mached object that is hollow on the inside and is in the shape of just about anything imaginable. Generally the hollowed out inside can be filled with candy, prizes or other small trinket. Examples of a Mexican shaped piñata could a burro, sombrero or taco. The idea behind the piñata is to hit the object with a hard stick in an effort to release the inside contents of the piñata. Once these contents of the piñata have been spilled onto the ground the party goers all go after the treasures that have been released. However, the catch to this game is that the individual who is trying to break up the piñata is blindfolded and spun around couple of times so that they can lose their orientation. This particular game is not only popular for young children, but can be a popular game for adults as well. Additionally, this Mexican party supply can be purchased at a number of local retail shops as well as searching online for that particular shaped object that the host or hostess is looking for. Finally, when it comes to hosting a Mexican party, some Mexican party supplies that can be worn are various types of clothing. Specifically, the host or hostess can wear clothing that reflects of certain areas or states that comprise the country of Mexico. For example, the hostess can wear a long a white skirt that has various different colors embroidered on it and the skirt extends out from the waistline down towards the floor in full fashion. Additionally, the skirt is embroidered utilizing bright cloth and flowing around the skirt. Also, the host can wear a sombrero and a serape and put sandals on their feet. |
